Bug in or bug out

Post by pilgrim on Mon Jan 07, 2019 6:43 pm

What is best bugging in or bugging out. There's a group near me that has practice bug outs on a regular basis. My question to them is in a true shtf how long are you going to survive in the woods . Eventually you will run out of food. I live in a rural area and I have all my preps here my generator, wells, weapons, canned goods. I know I can last a long time here.and be more comfortable.also in an emp most car won't run to take your bug out location.

My wife and I will stay where we are. We have some really good like minded neighbors and will probably have some kids join our happy band of campers if they can get here.. PopCorn

I'm staying put. All my resources are here, cows, chickens, ponds, septic system, spring, etc..

But this may help those who are undecided:

I'm firmly in the bug in camp for most emergencies. I'll only bug out if I'm forced out - I have no illusions about my long term survival if I'm forced on the road...
