Basically the same thing here in beautiful Cold Southern Indiana.. Course now if you listen to the folks at the grocery store its the end of life as we know it My wife and I don't have to go anywhere for the next 2 days so were good.. Stay safe everybody

Well, here in west central PA, at 5 A.M., it was 8 degrees, 5 inches of snow on the ground and another 3 to 5 inches expected tonight.

I just throw another log on the fire.

Well, in west central PA, right now 6:50 a.m., it's -8 below, with windchill of -18 below, if my math is right. It's going to be a heat wave for us, expected to be 20 degrees today. Yesterday it was -4 below for our low and a high of 11 degrees, with a windchill of -22 below.

Tomorrow it's going to be about 40 degrees with rain then turn colder with snow. They say we could get 1/2 inch to 3/4 inches of rain, it's going to be a flood fo some, as we have about a foot total of snow on the ground.

We're about 18 degrees, no wind, no snow and no ice. As far as I am concerned, that's a good day.

It was 6 degrees here early morning (5 a.m.), it's now  degrees and snow. Here is what they are calling for in the next ten days for our zip code, very cold mid week:

Last week, I missed the sub-zero weather, here in PA. We had a small family vacation that was South-bound, in Hilton Head. Our last family vacation, before our son starts his next soccer season and our daughter gets married, in a few months. Only, South-bound still was NOT warm. We were bundled up, coats & gloves for most of our 3 day stay. With near-freezing temps, overnight! Seems nowhere was safe from that delve into cold. I hate the cold. Each year hurts more than the year before.

Now, we're looking at another round, this coming week. I'm known for not leaving the house much in cold winters and calling 'kids' or hubby to bring something home from the grocery store, on their way home from work  . . . . That's how much I dislike the cold! Spring can't come soon enough for me!

ReadyMom, I complained everyday this past summer, hot, humid, rain, just too darn hot for me. I hate the hot weather.

Now that winter is here, I don't complain a bit about the cold weather, even when it's below zero, I love it.

Just throw another log on the fire, or maybe two pieces come next week.

-15 below at 6 a.m., with a windchill of -24 below. We've been under a windchill warning for two days now, kids haven't had school for two days.

No eggs for two days and even the cows are asking for long johns.

We dropped way down, had an ice storm, not enough has melted yesterday or today. Ice has encrusted everything and it's beautiful, but there will be issues if it doesn't melt soon. It's around 15 degrees out right now, never got over 20 degrees today, I think.

Oh Keebler, same here in PA except that rain is freezing rain. The wife came to bed during the 11 p.m. news and said the power went out at about 11:15 p.m. and it's still out.

Running on my battery banks right now, still freezing rain and sleet and the winds are howling like there is no end.

Snow still on the ground from 3 days ago. Weather is supposed to slowly warm to the 30s-40s over the next few days. Everyone here is warm, safe and dry. Husband and I are keeping busy playing on the computer, watching movies, reading. The animals (cats and dog) are bored and hate the cold, but want out every 5 minutes to see if it's changed! In, out, in, out, in, out, times 4 all day! GRRRR.

We have about 3 inches of snow so far, they're calling for another 3" and then it's the freezing rain that's coming, up to 1/3 inch of that.

Today's a picture window day for me.

The government in D.C. is shut down because they're expecting 4 inches of snow, a new meaning to  the word SNOWFLAKES.

Its the same here high of 95 very dry

Same here, yesterday the small city of Altoona, Pa, hit a record high of 90 degrees, breaking the record set in 1927 of 88 degrees. I guess they had climate change back then too.

Let's just say that I'm lovin' this weather!

ABC Channel 8 Richmond,Va.changed their forcast . 95 for Thursday. up (1 Degree) it's 74 right now @ 5:45 AM.
BUT:
that's better than 9. 5 Degrees.

We've dropped to the 50s (nights) and 60s (day). A little crispy nip in the air, too. Autumn is definitely here.

91F and humid today.but we'll have a cool front blow through this week.it'll be in the lower 70's to mid 80's most of the week

Our first frost is predicted for TONIGHT! This is way early for this area. The old timers say while unusual, it's not unprecedented. I've been here 13 years and NEVER seen frost this early.

We don't even have fall colors yet!

The potted plants are residing in the laundry room this evening until I get their semi-permanent winter home prepared. I have to clear their shelves and put down a drop cloth in the 'cabin' room.
