Creeds, Confessions, Catechisms and such
This is a good thread to list the foundation documents for your denomination, or whatever you believe.
Hopefully, for each one of these posted, we can get a link (not the whole document, please ) and a short explanation of how it fits our beliefs.
A short explanation, for those who don't know the jargon:
Creed, also called Confession of Faith, is an authoritative formulation of beliefs for a religious community (or individuals). The terms are sometimes used interchangeably, although “creed” refers to a brief affirmation of faith employed in public worship or initiation rites, while “confession of faith” is generally used to refer to a more detailed declaration. The latter term is usually restricted to such declarations within the Christian faith.
Catechism is a summary or exposition of doctrine and serves as a learning introduction traditionally used in Christian religious teaching of children and adult converts. Catechisms are doctrinal manuals – often in the form of questions followed by answers to be memorized – a format that has been used in non-religious or secular contexts as well. (Sometimes presented in the form of questions the new convert must research and answer, as part of a class.)

One of the oldest Creeds is the Apostle's Creed

I am not Lutheran, but I agree with almost all of the basic beliefs of the Lutheran Church (Missouri Synod)
(A Synod is a denomination of the Lutheran Church, and Missouri Synod is one of the oldest, and has changed the least.)

Many denominations will say they follow the Bible, but some see certain verses differently than others.
The basic foundation of beliefs for Baptists is outlined in the Philadelphia Confession, published in 1742, which lists 34 doctrines (teachings) of the Baptist Church and the Scriptural references for each of those doctrines.
