The New Green Deal
I've read different articles on the new green deal that is being pushed by this administration. So far, it has caused inflation, on the road to a recession, higher fuel price, higher food prices, higher electric prices, higher everything.
I look at Kilifornia and Texas, as far as solar and wind power, and you've seen what has happened to them, power failure in the middle of winter, rolling blackouts, etc..
China has their fingers in our electric grid now, going solar, they will own our grid.
I came across this article and thought it was worth posting:

I agree with you.rick1 wrote:...

...
Just a note, however:
Right now, however, Texas is doing better than in the past. They fired all of the out of state yahoos that used to run their grid and the new bunch is doing much better. Of course, everything in Texas is designed to deal with the summer heat. Winter will be another challenge.
Electric Reliability Council of Texas new website:

Even the website is a huge improvement, over what they had three years ago.

Re: The New Green Deal
I am just learning what to expect here in the Ozarks, but currently we don't seem to have any serious outages, despite going through the hottest week since 2012.

I haven't checked the rest of the country, and the heatwave has moved from the Ozark region to the MS river valley.
I doubt we will get through many more seasons, unscathed. And worse, I suspect people will, because no one died this week, believe that everything is just fine.
