Coping Strategies for Mental Health
https://www.thereadystore.com/food-storage/18184/coping-strategies-for-mental-health/

One in four people will suffer from mental illness in one form or another at some point during their lives. 450 million people are currently suffering from mental health issues worldwide. Treatment is widely available, but many of those who suffer never seek professional help due to the stigma associated with mental illness.  The World Health Organization suggests that mental health support should be moved from large mental institutions and towards community health programs. Mental health care should ideally become a part of primary or general care. However, the sad reality is that 40% of countries have zero mental health policies, 30% have no mental health programs, and 25% have absolutely no mental health legislation. When a disaster strikes those with mental health programs will be strained to the breaking point.   ---CONTINUED---

The coronavirus has caused a lot of mental health issues, suicides, drug overdoses, ptsd and more.

Here's a good article from the washington post on the effects of being locked down for 3 months. To me it's nothing more then mind over matter, but other weak people take the easy way out.

Take 5 minutes and read the article, it's worth the read:

Mental Health for Disaster & Emergency Situations-Before & After PicMonkey-Image-11   Prepping for a disaster or SHTF should go well beyond just the typical beans, bandages, bullets, and bug out plan scenario.

You need to take care of the mental health and overall wellbeing of those in your group, and that is no easy task.

The good news is that there are a lot of things you can do to make it easier now and they don’t have to cost a fortune.   ---CONTINUED---
