As far as toothpaste, we keep an extra 3 tubes on hand, plus I purchased a couple cans of tooth powder to keep on hand. Here's a mixture you can use to make your own toothpaste, I've tried it and it's not too bad.

4 tablespoons of coconut oil
3 tablespoons of baking soda with a dash of salt
10 to 20 drops of either cinnaman or clove or peppermint oil, whichever taste you like

Mix ingredients in a 1/2 pint jar, taste it, add more or less of the oils. Keep jar sealed, as it will dry out somewhat if you don't.

OR if all else fails you can use straight baking soda, I will tell ya that it doesn't really taste very good.
