Necessary Books Not About Prepping

Theoretically, the title is a misnomer. But while there are lists of books on this site and others about prepping - from building to gardening to medicine and homesteading. Are there other books you consider essential?

My top three to help with understanding myself and other people (in crisis and in general).

Your Money Or Your Life
The Gift Of Fear
Boundaries

These books taught me more about myself and other people than all the psychology classes I ever took. I now think they are extremely helpful in understanding other people and their motivations, too.

On a similar note, I just finished reading:
Rise
In Defense of Judeo-Christian Values and Freedom
by Brigitte Gabriel

It discusses how Islam and the Left are orchestrating the demise of America, Christianity, and Israel. (And makes suggestions of what to do about it.) The author is the founder of ACT for America.

I will check these out. I used to never really have an interest in geo-political history...now...though, I need to educate myself some more.
