Israel imposes ban on entry of tourists from European coronavirus-hit countries

News Service16:30 March 05, 2020AAIn a bid to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus, Israel has placed more than 60,000 people in self-quarantine for a period of two weeks, according to Israeli media on Thursday.

It added that Israel has begun to ban the entry of tourists coming from various European countries including Spain, Italy, France, Switzerland and Germany.

For Israeli citizens returning from these countries, the Israeli Health Ministry is requiring a 14-day medical quarantine period.

So far, the Israeli Health Ministry confirmed that 15 Israelis contracted the virus, according to the daily Haaretz

Israel is finding something that is just coming to light, about this virus. I have said many times that we cannot stop this virus, only slow it down. Israel (just as it is with Italy) slowed it down, and is just now having the surge that we had around Christmas.

Nothing to do with gatherings (or "superspreader" or any other made up leftist propaganda word), nothing to do with the vaccine. Our winter surge occurred in Nov-Jan (in Penn, it was Dec to Mar) and theirs is happening now.
