On a serious note, they are working on reallocating funds to be able to afford gas for the remainder of the budget year. I drove down to Detroit last weekend and saw 0 police on the way down and back.

Look forward to your taxes to go up, property and school. Somebody has to pay the local and state fuel usage, heat, gas, etc. and that somebody is the tax payer.

Where I live, they've already raised our school tax because of energy costs and of course, the teachers pay raise.
