Bears in PA Empty Bears in PA

We've had a bear traveling through our neighborhood, a few years back. This year, there was one seen a couple of neighborhood developments away (a mile or so away).  This is NOT that bear. This is over an hour away from us.

I saw that on the news. It is very unusual for a black bear to attack anyone, even if there are cubs nearby.

I've had numerous encounters with black bears, with and without cubs while hunting archery and every time, except for once, they all took off.

The one time was when I was in my tree stand and the bear was circulling around the bottom of the tree, it did finally leave and didn't try to climb the tree. Scared you ask, heck yes Shocked
