Violet stopped by, sometime in the past couple days, so I looked at her previous posts. (Yeah, hard for me to break those habits.)
Several of her posts are of great interest, if you think you will be around when things get really bad.
As for the above question about foil lining our walls: No. The walls, themselves will block heat signatures, as long as they aren't radically warmer than they should be.
("Grow Houses" can be spotted, by heat signature, people in a house can't. TV Shows portraying IR devices looking through walls are fantasy, unless the person is leaning against the wall, for a while, and warms that spot in the wall.)
