How to Make Homemade Grape Wine With Active Dry Yeast (And a Balloon)
https://www.ehow.com/how_6339353_make-wine-active-dry-yeast.html
Homemade grape wine does not require many ingredients, but you will need to remain patient during the process. Once all the ingredients are combined, the sugar will begin turning into alcohol and it will release gasses that cause an attached balloon to inflate. Once the sugar stops producing gasses, the balloon will deflate and you can enjoy your homemade grape wine. ---CONTINUED---

1 Minute Wine Recipe
http://fivegallonideas.com/1-minute-wine-recipe/
Most wine making guides really over-think the wine making process. They tell you to buy all kinds of equipment and additives that you don’t really need.
This tutorial is about stripping wine making down to the absolute bare minimum. It’s so simple that you can get going with just 5$ in equipment, and start a batch of wine in under a minute. ---CONTINUED at LINK, above ---
REVIEW of this method:
http://knowledgeweighsnothing.com/a-genius-1-minute-wine-recipe/
 When I first saw this 1 minute wine recipe, I was a bit dubious… But here’s the thing – I have quite a bit of experience of making homemade wines, beers and meads (not sure what that says about me!), but this 1 minute wine recipe is genius in its use of supermarket supplies and I can see no reason why it won’t produce very drinkable wines.
The only two speciality items you need are an airlock (to stop the fermenting wine from exploding, whilst stopping bacteria from entering) and some champagne yeast (you can try standard yeast, but it won’t be half as strong or taste as good). You can get both of these from a local home brewing shop or Amazon for around $5 and the airlock can be reused.
The finished wine costs around $1.50 per 750ml (standard wine bottle size). If you can make a drinkable wine for that price, you are laughing!

Re: Wine . . .
This is really interesting. Something I should learn more about.
Previously hundreds of years ago alcohol (wine, gin etc) was the main beverage since water was easily contaminated and difficult to store.

Easy Strawberry Wine Recipe – Perfect for Beginners
https://commonsensehome.com/strawberry-wine-recipe/
t doesn't get much more straightforward than this unless you go wild – berries, sugar, yeast, acid, nutrient and water. Make sure you use good quality berries. There are no tricks or other flavors to cover bad fruit here. Previously frozen berries should work as well as fresh, as long as they are nice and ripe. (Use them as soon as possible after thawing for best color.) ---CONTINUED---

Rhubarb Cherry Wine – A Fun Twist on Rhubarb Wine
https://commonsensehome.com/rhubarb-cherry-wine/
When rhubarb is abundant, I like to use it in recipes like rhubarb pudding cake and rhubarbade, but I hadn't tackled rhubarb wine. When looking through my favorite old school winemaking book, I came across a rhubarb cherry wine recipe that looked like a perfect combination to use the rhubarb harvest and the stash of Door County cherries in my freezer. (You could use canned cherries, but the color won't be as bright.) I think it's fun to add some color to a basic rhubarb wine recipe, too. ---CONTINUED---
