2019 - OCTOBER Prepping Updates
Started the new thread 21 days late! Thanks, Rick, for pointing it out!
Friday was grocery shopping and yard sales.
Grocery shopping:
Restocked what we used
LTS:
4 cans corn (Libby's, which doesn't have a no pop-top)
4 cans green beans (Libby's, which doesn't have a pop-top)
Yard sales:
Router table with router - $5
Husband got more diatamaceous earth, the supply I bought 10 years ago is dwindling. He also got more gamma seal lids, buckets, and mylar bags.
Asked a friend to make more shelving for me and we traded services rather than money - good, old-fashioned bartering! YAY! He made the shelving out of some wood he had lying around, and we loaned him our hauler to move some stuff for his business.
Brought the tropical plants in for the winter. I brought them in before, but took them back out to enjoy the sun. so now they're back in.
One of my loops had a comment that equine bedding pellets are cheaper and more odor-controlling than cat litter. Since I have a couple older inside cats, I decided to try it. As soon as we cycle through this batch of litter, I'll put in the pellets and see how it goes.
