I am reviewing this video, even though I don't particularly like the channel owner.
At thirty minutes, one of his guests provides evidence that this is virus has a "laboratory origin" which could be a weapons lab, but it could also be a lab working on SARS, or some other, vaccine.

OK, just finished looking at the video that Kevypom posted, and thru about the 50 min mark, it is OK, but then the guy runs back to his anti-vax cult stuff, so there isn't any point in watching the rest.

The point made at about the 30 minute mark is useful, and they spend a few minutes expounding on that, but that may be the only thing worth watching, in it.

I have been watching a lot of videos and news about the Virus and for the most part they are saying that the Flu has killed more people here than the Co.Virus will...

If there is really nothing to worry about then why would China be willing to take such a risk to their economy by quarantining 50 million people ???

Why is our government down playing this so much ???

It may just be me but this has all the warning signs of a major **it storm... I just can't see what they hope to gain by playing this down

Finally, some good news?

While the coronavirus continues its spread throughout China and elsewhere in the world (we now have the first confirmed case in Africa), we are hearing about an encouraging development on the treatment front.

Watching it I thought I was going to pass out right here in my chair... I read post after post after post about how China didn't do anything to control this... lied to the world... etc.. and yet... China is willing to sacrafice anyone and everyone it needs to sacrafice to get this virus under control.

My wife and I watched a show called Containment on Net-Flix it was based in Atlanta... I realize it was just a movie , but as far as quarantine goes it was pretty close.. They shut off the city and pretty much left the people to live or die.......

After updating on the latest case information, this video explains what a cytokine storm is, how that actually is the cause of harm, and additional troubling information that nCoV (now "covid-19") spreads through the air.

Can a vaccine be developed soon?  Well, a prior attempt to create one for SARS ended up doing more harm than good in animal models.  This means we may need to temper our hopes for a quick vaccine and allow the process to run.  It may take a while - a year or more?  

Which means people need to be ready to hunker down for possibly long period of time if their strategy is to avoid getting infected until a vaccine is ready and available.

Even if it can be developed, a legit vaccine development - efficacy and safety proved - it's at least 18 months away, and even with that, how many will actually voluntarily take it? And what is the production capacity for a new vaccine? Will a special facility have to be built for it if it has a unique production process?

I'm thinking a minimum of two years ... by then, there may be enough herd immunity to negate the need for a vaccine!

Outside of the lockdown within China, covid-19 cases are accelerating across the globe.The virus has truly jumped the defense line. It's now a true pandemic, with countries all over the world reporting huge percent increases in the number of infected cases.

We already know it has reached 'endemic' status in Japan and South Korea. But overnight, new cases have been declared by the US, Italy, Iran, Lebanon, the UAE and Israel, among others.

Things are now starting to get fast and furious. Outside of China, covid-19 is swiftly breaching defense lines all over the world.

Italy is suddenly in big trouble -- with the military being called in to enforce city quarantines.  Iran, South Korea & Japan similarly find themselves overwhelmed as new cases continue to spread unabated.

And there are many other countries (including the US) whose low reported numbers just don't appear believable at this point. We may soon find out that there are many more infections worldwide than are currently understood.

As China, Italy, South Korea and a growing list of other countries are showing us, outbreaks can happen extremely fast, slamming the door shut on your window to prepare.

Which is why taking action now is critical -- because a gov't lockdown will likely catch you by surprise (armed troops, empty store shelves). After the moment it's implemented, you will have to make do with whatever measures you put in place beforehand.

Meanwhile we're being able to quantify the damage of the current shutdown of China's economy. China is responsible for nearly 30% of world's manufacturing, and it's estimated that at this point, global trade will take a hit of nearly $600 billion.

And it gets worse. Millions of Chinese firms are going bankrupt from lack of cash flows -- a national bailout by China's banks is likely needed to keep a huge part of its industry from vaporizing.  One social front, we're hearing stories of families giving up babies they can no longer afford, as folks are becoming homeless due to lack of income.

This is likely a preview of what's to come for other countries hard hit by this virus.

This is why the downplaying to-date of the coronavirus by world authorities is so dangerous. The risk is real and the costs are high. The masses should be preparing now.

But until they are, we need to be ahead of the curve.
