When I restore antiques that have drawers I use old bar soap to help the drawers slide easier....

When I was in the boy scouts, we'd use soap on the pans before putting them on the cooking fire so it was much easier to clean them after cooking. On the outside only of course!

Any suggestion which brand of bar soap to use for this?
(I don't normally stock bar soap, but this might change my plans.)

IIRC we used Ivory soap. But I will admit it's been a few years/decades....
