2021 - JANUARY - What Did You Do To Prep This Week/Month
I have been remiss. Sorry. Family illness, bad weather, landline down, etc.
Husband and I have been talking about the current events and have been hardening our preps. More food, more clothing, more everything. We've hit the commissary for some foods, the local grocery, and will probably do a couple runs to the Sam's and the Amish store in the next week. We're stocking up on animal food and cat litter, too. We've also ordered more seeds, even though we have a ton already.
We're filling the vehicles' gas tanks every time we go to town.
We are blessed in that we have good neighbors, we'll band together if needed.
Beyond that, I've been sewing with fleece, making neck gaiters (round scarves) for everyone, and things for the next baby to be born into the family later in the year. I moved my sewing area back into the house and now Husband has the man cave to himself.

Between physical therapy and massage appointments, I've been sewing.
Husband is keeping the fire going in the wood stove and watching documentaries. The cold weather is keeping us inside.

I stacked up 2 more rick of wood and I had 5 ton of gravel brought in ..
I have been making a walk way from the house to the chicken house with the gravel it will keep my feet out of the mud.
The down side is i have to move it with a wheelbarrow and shovel I think I am getting a little bit to old for that sort of foolishness...
I hope you get to feeling better Cinnamon

Re: 2021 - JANUARY - What Did You Do To Prep This Week/Month
Thanks, Dave.
I am feeling great and all is well. My last physical therapy appointment is next week, just a followup.
I've been de-cluttering my sewing room (how many times have you all heard that?). I got 2 new carts with baskets to store all the stuff that litters the cutting table. It's so nice to have the whole table for cutting fabric now.
I finished sewing a pillow that I'd started 30 years ago, and also made a table runner. One of my nieces loves getting mail and I've been using scrap fabrics sewed to cards to send to her for fun.
Husband is keeping the wood stacked and the trash burned. He's getting a little stir crazy from being cooped up, we might have to plan a day trip.
