(BIG SNIP) ... The best manures are pig, chicken and human.  Horse manure has too much ammonia (I think it was ammonia, it has been 40 years)  to digest well but will produce gas.   ---CONTINUED---

Didn't know that about chicken !@#$.

I have burnt cow patties, only to see how they burned, they did ok if don't have anything else to burn.
