9MM AMMO RECALL

Winchester has a recall on it's 9mm Luger, 115 grain, JHP and FMJ ammunition. There are over 50  lot numbers.

If your ammo was purchased with the lot numbers BEFORE March 25,  2021, they are not subject to the recall.

I have over 2,000 rounds that I purchased prior to this date, time to check it all.

Check your ammo for these lot numbers, as the projectile could lodge in your barrel and the next round fired could blow up your gun, let alone you getting seriously injured:

It says ammo purchased AFTER that date is a problem.

Yours was purchased before that date.

OTOH, how do they know how long after manufacture, the ammo was sold?

(I suppose, in these times, they would assume it wouldn't remain on the shelf for very long. Edit to add, it just occurred to me, if it sat there for a while, it would still be after that date. duh. )

Ya, before March 25, 2001, not after.
