Don't Eat Romaine Lettuce
An announcement came over the radio stating DO NOT eat romaine lettuce in any state, no matter where it came from.
It said the warning came from the CDC. I checked the net and couldn't find anything.

Re: Don't Eat Romaine Lettuce
Fox news just reported the same thing on romaine lettuce. They said the CDC issued a nationwide warning on romaine lettuce to not eat it, throw it away and wipe down everything it came in contact with.

Re: Don't Eat Romaine Lettuce
I told our daughter NOT to eat the Ceaser Salad, when we went out to dinner, over the weekend. Hubby sat there and said 'they wouldn't serve it, if it wasn't safe'. She ate the whole thing. So far ... so good.
More Produce Linked To E.coli Outbreak, Recall Issued In PA

PENNSYLVANIA — A California farm linked to an outbreak of E.coli on romaine lettuce is recalling more leafy products and cauliflower, at some of which was shipped to Pennsylvania. Adam Bros. Farming, Inc., based out of Santa Maria, California, said it is recalling red leaf lettuce, green leaf lettuce and cauliflower harvested from Nov. 27-30.
The recall is "out of an abundance of caution" because it could be tainted with E. coli bacteria, the company said in a news release. The farm stressed that none of the recalled products has yet tested positive for the bacteria and no one has reported falling ill. ---CONTINUED---
