Didn't believe the news when they said that millennials, AKA Snowflakes, lack many skills of daily life. So after I read the article I called my 14 year old granddaughter and asked her if she could sew, cook, etc.. She laughed at me and said of course. See the below article and get a chuckle out of it  Laugh-Roll

I could shoot, skin and cook an animal before I was 10. Sewing not so much other than a button.

I grew up on a little farm - learned to milk a cow, take care of a garden (somewhat), take care of sick animals and kids, clean house, do laundry by hand, crochet, and to sew, both by hand and machine. I was also doing embroidery and basic alterations by the time I was about 10 -12.

That said, I didn't learn to cook until I got married.

I think us old timers could handle about anything that comes our way.

As long as it doesn't get in the way of my nap time.

Sleep-Pillow That's right I enjoy a nap myself from time to time..I had a 22 rifle by the age of 10. My Dad taught me how to hunt squirrels and rabbits and clean them. I helped my grandfather in his garden. I also knew how to crochet and sew before I was very old..

I learned how to cook watching my Dad
