New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo added that although service was restored some traffic lights remained out and New Yorkers should stay indoors for their safety.

"We would not encourage New Yorkers to go out if you don’t have to go out," he added, calling the situation potential "pandemonium




That was a very minor, short lived, localized incident.

Imagine that on a state, regional or national level for weeks months or years.

I heard on the news this morning that Gov Cuomo and Mayor Big Bird are calling for a full investigation of the power outage, saying it's unacceptable for the power to go out. The Gov. also is pondering on suspending the electrical companies license.

I know these two morons are well educated, you can tell by the way they talk. Cuomo talks like he's either drunk or on meth, but how STUPID can one get.

What the heck would they do if the power grid was hacked and the power was out for weeks or even months? I know what I'll be doing while the power is out.

I fill sorry for about 40% of New Yorkers, the others voted these airheads into office.

I can't imagine what it would be like to try and get out of a place like NY if the power grid failed... I don't feel sorry for a lot of them they know something like this is coming but they choose to stay anyway......
