It's in the right place. We need it. Thanks for starting!

Re: Turkey & Syria
I am kicking myself for not seeing this, months ago. In addition to the Kurds being long time rivals with Turkey for that parcel of land (Thanks, UN) the Kurds helped us trash ISIS, whom Turkey was providing assistance.

I like the Kurds. They are one of the only groups of civilized people in the middle East.
But IMO this is not our fight or war. I don't want the US being involved in it. We have too many endless wars going on
All the Obama appointed Intel types and deep state guys are the ones yelling the loudest that we need to stay in Syria. That makes me more confident that pulling out is the right move.
Now turkey.... They are in NATO and they are our "Ally" but I have no trust in them and they are not our friend. The sooner we cut ties with turkey the better.
Russia....well I'm waiting to see what their move will be in this. I'm not sure where they will fit in but I think they will increase their footprint and fill the void we are leaving.

Re: Turkey & Syria
There is no right move. Just some that are wronger than others
The Russians don't really want Syria, but they are allied with Persia, and want to get control of the petroleum supplies in the region.
In Ezekiel 38, God said that He will put hooks in the jaw of Gog (the leader of the Russian empire) and his allies, and bring them down into the mountains of Israel, where they will be destroyed.
This is known to be prophesy for the End Times (not now), but what we may be seeing is the set up for that future event. (Yes, I see the Hand of God in everything, especially in these days.)

That's messed up. No way that's a mistake. 100% the Turks would know where our forces are.
My next prediction is someone ends up using chemical weapons in Syria again. Either against the Turks or the Kurds. I'm not sure which is more likely.

You are definitely right about that. We and the Kurds had a common interest in the destruction of ISIS, and that is past. (Of course, there will be cells here and there around the world, but like Al Qada, that is just something that will go on for ever (different subject).TRex2 wrote:...But IMO this is not our fight or war. ...

Re: Turkey & Syria
I can't count the errors in that MSN article.
That said, prophesy indicates that this will end badly.
(Or it could refer to another war in the same place, in the future.)
