I'm thinking that this is a pretty good idea. You could have a lot in a zip-bag and they are nice and light to keep in a bug-out bag!

Using waxed jute twine tinder to start fires has many benefits. It’s cheap to make, burns for a fairly long time, and is waterproof and almost windproof when made correctly.
