100,000 Body Bags

The DHS just spent 5.1 million dollars on 100,000 body bags. I don't believe we are restocking these, is the government expecting more then the estimated deaths or are they not telling us something:

They are getting ready to open the country for business and they already know its going to get bad....

I wasn't aware DHS (dept. of homeland security for those visiting us) was the ones handling this, but this is, at least partially, a restocking. The government used several thousand over the past couple months.

I don't think we have used 100k so I suspect part of it is, as Dave58 points out, they know it is going to be bad, and are thinking ahead.

(Last time we didn't think ahead was on "N95 masks" and the Chinese bought about a billion of them on US markets at less than a dollar each and later sold a lot of them back to us, or to others, for over five dollars each.)
