U.S./China Tariffs

China just raised tariffs on $60 billion dollars worth of goods to take effect June 1st.

China also considering to stop buying farm goods from the U.S. and considering dumping all U.S. treasuries they own. China can't survive by not buying farm goods from us, but we may be in trouble when it comes to them cashing in on U.S. treasuries.

I think the US treasuries threat is just saber rattling to match the US saber rattling. It's kind of mutually assured economic destruction if they dumped the treasuries all at once.

Ok, I hope it's just a threat....

Stock market took one heck of a hit today, they're predicting tomorrow will be almost as bad. Doesn't look good until this China/USA trade war is fixed.

I fill real bad for the farmers, they're getting hit the hardest, between this trade war and all the flooding, that is still going on, I don't know how they'll survive.
