The above two articles had some good ideas, but i see they missed one item.
A pressure cooker.
A pressure cooker doesn't let any steam, and the associated smell, out of its chamber, until the pressure is sufficient. Keep it around 200F and it won't make any smell. That would be just a couple psi on a cooker with a gauge. Or just enough to make the safety catch engage, if you don't have a gauge.

Some holiday weekend, head out to the ‘burbs” or stroll through some campgrounds or a public park. Your nose will pick up a couple very distinctive smells: Wood smoke and charcoal grills.
