Is Dry Canning Safe?

There's a trend to use the oven to 'vacuum seal' jars of dried goods in order to seal them for long-term food storage in the pantry. You might have also heard it called oven canning.

Many items to dry back canning. I'm sure some of you have already dry canned items and just don't know it.
We dry back can many things, oats, wheat, corn, oat meal, macaroni, powdered milk, potato flakes, etc..
