Are you prepping with rice or pasta in your food storage? Maybe you should put more pasta in your prepper's pantry (instead of so much rice)! Rice has too much arsenic and isn't as much a part of the average American diet as pasta is.

Often considered the ultimate comfort food (right after chocolate) dried pasta also can last a long time if properly stored. Pasta usually is purchased from a grocer in plastic bags or cardboard boxes. The boxes are marked with a “Best if Used By” date and can last for up to three years in it’s original package. ---CONTINUED---
