How To Store Charcoal For Cooking Emergencies
https://www.foodstoragemoms.com/store-charcoal/
You probably know by now I do everything colored coded. Storing charcoal is no different. My favorite way to store charcoal or briquettes is in five gallon buckets with Gamma Lids. My color choice for the Kingsford briquettes is blue buckets with blue Gamma Lids. I store my Ozark Hardwood lump charcoal in red buckets and red Gamma Lids. I like to keep them in different colored buckets for a reason. I store and use the Kingsford briquettes without the added “starter fluid” for my Dutch oven cooking. This way I can count the number of briquettes I need for the top and the bottom of the Dutch ovens. I know instantly which buckets have my Ozark Lump or my briquettes. ---CONTINUED at LINK---

How to Light a Charcoal Grill
https://www.artofmanliness.com/articles/how-to-light-a-charcoal-grill/
Nothing says manly Americana like standing in front of charcoal grill that’s spewing flames like the upturned end of a rocket ship. But creating a massive fire doesn’t always equate to properly prepping a charcoal grill. At the end of the day, you’ll earn more admirers by serving up great tasting brats and burgers than by offering a low-budget pyrotechnics show. Learn to light your charcoal grill using one of these two methods and you’re sure to get the praise you deserve. ---CONTINUED--- with an illustrated guide.
