I have various types of lighting whenenver there is a laps in power:

1. Kerocene lamps
2. Candles, various sizes
3. Tach flash lights
4. Tach head lamps
5. Various types of solar lights
6. Solar light bulbs

I have ten of the solar light bulbs, they are as bright as a regular bulb that you put in your lamp.
I bought them off of ebay. They are cheaper if you buy a 6 pack or 10 pack of them:

The solar battery bank I have for the house runs the living room and kitchen. I bought LED light bulbs, they only use 9 watts and are rated the same as a 60 watt bulb.  I got them at dollar tree for a dollar. I have 25 spare bulbs on hand.

I also have LED string lights, 14 feet long and only use 4.8 watts, I have 5 sets of these.

If you are or are planning to use a solar bank, these are the lights to go with, they use very little battery power.

I have the usual flashlights and lanterns (electric and kerosene), but I also have some UV Paqlite sheets and necklaces. They are packs of glow in the dark beads that you leave out in the sun, then bring into the dark space at night and they'll glow for hours. I keep one necklace type on my radiological emergency faraday cage, so I can find it even at night without electricity. Another necklace unit is hanging in the bathroom over the toilet, so I can find it in the dark without turning on any lights... And the medium size flat pack I use as a nightlight in the bedroom.

They aren't as bright as electric lights or even some candles, but more than enough so I don't have to wake up to complete darkness if the power goes out. So they are my TEOTWAWKI final light source since they aren't supposed to expire and don't take any fuel...of course that assume we have access to sunlight, but if that's gone for years then we have bigger issues.  What a Face
