CONCORD -- State health officials announced Monday they are monitoring two people in New Hampshire with recent travel to Wuhan City, China, who have developed respiratory symptoms and are currently undergoing testing for novel coronavirus.

CONCORD, N.H. —
Another New England state has announced a presumptive positive case of COVID-19.

The coronavirus patient was announced Monday by New Hampshire state epidemiologist Dr. Benjamin Chan, who said the patient was in Grafton County.

Officials said the patient had recently traveled to Italy and is now receiving treatment at home. ---continued---

New Hampshire just announced its first case, coronavirus now in 10 states (20%) of the U.S..

My bet, is tomorrow, it will show up in another 2 or 3 more states. This thing is moving fast.

Glad I don't live any where near a major airport or a city. I'm in good shape unless the cows come down with it.

A New Hampshire hospital employee diagnosed with coronavirus broke quarantine to attend an event on Feb. 28, “despite having been directed to self-isolate” the state’s Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) has confirmed in a press release. The DHHS has since issued an official order of isolation for the man.

The unidentified man — who had traveled to Italy, according to state epidemiologist Dr. Benjamin Chan — went to an invite-only social event at Dartmouth Business School in White River Junction, Vermont on Friday. ---CONTINUED---
