Communications
I was gifted a Hallicrafters SX 110 Radio. I know absolutely nothing about it.
It doesn't have a mic. so I can only receive. Does anybody know anything about them?
What type of antenna do I need?
Any information would be great there seems to be a limited amount of information on the net.

Re: Communications
You may have found these, but a manual can be found at http://www.obairlann.net/reaper/ham/sx-110/manual/ although it's just low quality pictures of the 10 pages of the manual
And there was a review and some discussions of the SX 110 over at https://www.eham.net/reviews/view-product?id=3597
And Youtube has some video demonstrations, a bunch from https://www.youtube.com/@Capecodham
and another one at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hS9_P0NR83o
although none of them are really how to videos, more a gee isn't this neat videos....
You might be best looking for a HAM radio shop, telling them you have an SX-110 and ask what antenna options they recommend (which I'm sure they'll either just happen to have or can order for you....) Since it's receive only they shouldn't get all huffy about needing a license.
Best of luck!
