I was talking with our daughter on the phone. My parting words: "if the world ends from the eclipse ... I love you" ... Laughing

Seriously, we were 90+ % totality and it was SO BRIGHT outside! Didn't even feel like dusk. But the temp really went down!!

It was overcast here, just got a little dark, outside lights didn't even turn on. Didn't notice any temperature change here. Just another day for me.

We were in totality for about 3 minutes.

No zombies.

A couple relatives, from out of state.

Nice visit.

Nothing here. We had a bit of a what appeared to be a cloud passing over the sun, and then it was gone. I was taking pictures of the eagles flying over my house during the time frame, and the sun is shining on one of the eagles' tail feathers.

Beautiful clear skies in my section of New England, but we only got to 93% totality. Still an amazing sight to behold.

When approaching our max coverage the quality of the light dimmed, kind of like twilight, but the colors were somehow different. Weird, but interesting.

Funniest thing was that folks I work with (at a school) were surprised I brought a camping chair and a water bottle so I could sit back and relax while watching the show.

During a normal twilight, the sun is near the horizon and you lose a lot of your blue light.

With the eclipse, the sun is higher in the sky, giving you more blue light.

(Difference between a warm white lightbulb, and a cool white lightbulb.)
