That is EXACTLY what I told our daughter, that lives about 15 min from us! I told her to put some groceries in a bag, in case she gets pulled over, on her way over here. Tell the cops she is delivering groceries to us! We're her life-line, because they have limited space in their condo. I've prepped for our whole family from way back when (figuring they would be HERE). But given the type of pandemic we're in ... kids are in their own homes for the duration.

Now our son, in Virginia is another story. VA just went into a state down lock-down till June 10!!! We haven't seen him (live vs face-time) since early March. Crying-Sobbing

That's a LONG time, for this family!

I don't like wearing them either RM, but I do when I go downtown, there are many people around here that wear them (mostly the elderly). Many people in the stores are even wearing some type of glove.

Here's the thing, the Gov and the Prez are asking not telling, so many people won't wear them, unless the stores post a sign stating to wear one or you won't have entry to the store.

Tell hubby you'll make the dogs masks and they can pass for twins or triplets. Thinking

My wife just told me that walmart is going to limit how many people can be in the store at any one time.

Dave, when they say a mask, they also said anything that will cover your nose and mouth, such as a scarf, a hankerchief, a turtleneck that you can pull up, etc., many people are making their own out of cotton t-shirts.

We have some N-95 masks, but I use the masks from harbor freight, for now and the wife gets hers from the chemo doctor.

I know, they said that we should have hit our high this past weekend and then it was to start dropping off. It's not happening, yet, it's only getting worse Maybe 'cause all them there New Yorkers and New Jerseiers are coming across our border and adding to our totals.

The two slow days were 4-12 and 4-13, this was the weekend and not all counties report over the weekend.

The one thing that bothers me on her restrictions is the fact the you can't buy seed or garden plants because she says they are non essential.... If you control the food you can control the people..

Funny thing happened yesterday my neighbor and I have a "King of the hill" thing going on when we mow the grass. We will park the mowers under a tree and try to solve the worlds problem lol

He said he thinks they created this virus to get rid of the old and weak people it would cost them a lot less money if they didn't have to pay out for them. The scary thing is he might be closer to being right than he knows.....

Rick ... how do you get that, as the biggest spike? There was a big spike on Tue, 4/7 (+78 deaths).
This is actually a drop. 20 deaths less than reported yesterday (+60 deaths reported yesterday)

I know ReadyMom, that's why I said the numbers given by sex and county don't add up to what they are reporting.

ReadyMom, the local news said this morning, the figures are correct. They added numbers that are probable deaths from the coronavirus.

Heck, it's probable that if I play the lottery that I would win too.

They actually added people that had heart attacks and died, but tested positive for the coronavirus after the fact.

Well, I can see that, Rick. If someone has corona virus in their system, and if they are old, wouldn't it be sensible to think that the stress on their body from the CV caused the heart attack and they died? Would they have had that heart attack, if they didn't have the CV? So, would they have died? So, the CV was the stimulant for the deadly heart attack. If they were neg for CV and had a heart attack or whatever it was that killed them ... then yes that thing killed them. But if there is CV, it complicated the condition and that combination killed them ... so CV is the reason they died. I can see that rational.

The guy that died in Bedford county, was walking and talking like me and you, no sign of the coronavirus, no fever, no cough, no nothing, wasn't sick at all. But fell over dead from a heart attack, as always, they did an autopsy, including blood work, showed he had coronavirus.

To me that guy died of a heart attack, not coronavirus. If he had been sick with the coronavirus and then had the heart attack, I then would say yes that he died from the coronavirus.

Seems like we're still climbing that mountain and just don't know where the top of it is, so we can go down the other side.

PA update. 1369 new cases for a total of 37,053 cases.

Most Pennsylvanians can count pretty good, but the ones that went to college can't count, so here are the current death figures:

-228 deaths, for a total of 1394 deaths. That's right, a minus 228 deaths.

228 of the victims have been risen from their grave, and the report doesn't give a reason for a bad count. But, on 4-21 report for 4-20, there was a figure of 360 new deaths, that's about 5 times the normal daily death count.

Thank God I graduated from the 5th grade.
