If I was him, I'd do it next week and not wait until August.

I don't remember exactly when, but we did this, after Trump got elected. Many thousands of snowflakes were triggered, that Trump would be on their phone

The phone I had, at that time, didn't receive the alert. I don't know if my current one will, so I will just have to rely on knowing when the attack is coming, before the government does

Phone systems here in N. Arkansas are out.
Internet and Cable TV still working.

It may be that so many people are talking
about the test, that the system just overloaded.

Nothing came over our phones, we always get the amber alerts, etc..

All of my phones went out, about 10 minutes before it all started, but we got it on Cable TV and at least two radio stations.

I had to reboot my phone device (phone over IP system) to get my land line back. The cell phones began working about 20 minutes after everything was over.

There is a setting for getting "Test Messages" and that had to be turned on for it to come through your phones. Mine are set for "Tornado Warning" only.

Extreme alerts - on
Severe alerts - on
Amber alerts - on
Presidential alerts - Presidential alerts are mandatory and cannot be turned off

Am I missing anything.

Your phone is so different from mine that I don't really know, but it looks like you have everything on, that needs to be on.

I turn off all "watches" and "notifications" because we get two dozen a week, and in certain seasons, we get the "watches" every two hours.

It is good to know, with only two months notice, we can get the national emergency alert system to halfway work right. [/sarcasm]
